On arrival in Kathmandu airport our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. A short briefing will be provided about the next day program. You will have rest of the day at leisure.
After Breakfast we take a short drive to the foot hill of shivapuri national park which covers the area of 159 square kilometer and home to over 177 species of Birds including Euasian eagle-owl, slender-billed scimitar- babbler, white- gorgeted flycatcher, barred cuckoo-dove, golden throated barbet etc.On the way we could also visit nunnery monastery where more than 100 nuns varying of different ages and came from as far as from Tibet have immersed themselves in meditation and prayer.
After early breakfast we head to phulchowki hill today which is about 20 km south from Kathmandu and a paradise place for birds and bird's lovers. Regular species of birds such as babblers, warblers, woodpecekers, eagles and many migrants have made phulchowki their home. After exploring phuchowki hill if time permits us, could also visit to godawori botanical garden which is expanded on 59 acres containing exotic and local flora which also makes it a favourate place for the birds.
Today you take an hour flight to Biratnagar, nearest airport to Koshi Tappu wildlife reserve. Upon arrival in airport we drive for an hour to our camp and get brief introduction facility and program by our naturalist and Bird walk in the marshland and field outside the reserve to see the storks, ibises, snipes, waterfowl, birds of prey etc.
Today we explore the reserve which is the best bird watching place in Asia with more than 479 species of bird, some fly all the way from Siberia during winter. The nearby koshi barrage has created a vast expanse of water making it the most important staging point for migrating birds. After breakfast we take a full day excursion on boat with pack lunch including a walk along the eastern embankment to see the waders, waterfowl, Birds of pray, water cock, Indian nightjar, dusky eagle owl, globally threatened swamp partridge etc together with marsh crocodile, otters, wild buffalo and Gangetic dolphin. After full day of bird watching we head back to our camp for overnight.
Early morning wake up call and walking tour around the camp site to look after the beautiful birds. After breakfast we drive for an hour to Biratnagar to catch our flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival at airport in Kathmandu, we drive you to your hotel and leisure time to relax or shopping.
Relax or do more shopping until its time for us to drive you to airport in good time to catch your flight onward to your next destination.

Booking conditions:
- You will receive final confirmed by email once we have received 10% deposit as non-refundable fee.
- The remaining balance amount could be paid upon your arrival in Kathmandu. But if you are joining the Bhutan tour 100% payment should be reach on our bank at least one month prior to departure date.
- If you cancelled the trip after your arrival due to sickness or any other emergency, full amount will be charged.
- No extra charge will be charge if you notify us to change the date 30 days prior the departure date. After that 10% extra charge will be charged for changing the date.
- No refund will be made after departure if you decided to abandon the trip voluntarily or involuntarily or by any other reason or any kind of circumstances.
- There are certain amounts of risk involved on the trip, which you are willing to take. It is mandatory to have your travel insurance, which cover minimum of medical and rescue evacuation to join any of our trips.
- We cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellation of trip caused by flight, strikes, government regulation, weather or any other unavoidable circumstances.
- Hawks eye reserve the right to cancel any trip before departure. In due cases your deposited amount will be refunded with out any charges.

All nationalities except Indians require a visa for Nepal, which could be, obtain from Embassies abroad or on arrival at Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu. To avoid the long queue you could apply on line visa form.

Nepal has unpredictable weather and varies from altitude ranges. The best season to travel to Nepal is in Autumn (Mid- September to November) and in Spring (March to Mid May). In autumn the air is clean after monsoon and spring -the time for flowers. Spring temperatures are warmer in days (25 to 35 degree Celsius) and in autumn (25-30 degree C) in days but at night the temperature drops down to 10-15 degree C. The tour could be done in winter as well (Dec-Feb). The days are pleasant with 20 degree C but as soon as the sun dusk the temperature falls down up to -2 at night.

There are some up and down hill climb includes while going for bird watching in Kathmandu. Good health condition with some physical fitness is recommended.

Lunch and Dinner in Kathmandu are not included in the trip as there are lots of eating options and we would love to give you maximum flexibility to decide about your meal items. While in Koshi tappu, we do provide you Lunch and Dinner prepared by our expert chef.
Domestic flight and private ground transportations are provided through out the trip with enough space to seat back and relax.
Weather in Nepal is unpredictable and can change rapidly. Travellers need to be prepared for all weather conditions.

You should consult with your doctor about vaccination and other medical travel information before departure. We recommend you to carry your personal first aid kids together with you personal medical requirement. Please be aware that there are places where immediate medical facilities are not available so when selection your trip please assure your ability to cope with the tour and consult with your doctor if you have any health issue which could affect your trip.
Please make sure to get your travel insurance before travelling. Travelling insurance is compulsory in order to participate on any of our trips. Our entire participants should obtain their own personal insurance, which covers medical and emergency evacuation at a minimum. You, of Couse, would also like to have insurance coverage for loss or damage of baggage, flight and trip cancellation.
Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary, but as it’s an adventure in a remote mountain region, we cannot guarantee. Weather condition, road conditions, flight cancellation, landslides, avalanches, strikes and many any other reasons could contribute to changes on the itinerary. We will try to ensure the trip runs according to plan but an easy going nature will be an asset.
