Everest Base Camp Trek – A Dream Adventure in the Himalayas
The Everest Base Camp Trek is a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the foot of the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest (8,848.86 meters). Nestled deep in the Khumbu region of Nepal, this legendary trail offers a mix of natural beauty, cultural encounters, and high-altitude adventure. It has become a dream destination for trekkers from around the globe, especially since the historic 1953 summit by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.
The adventure begins with a dramatic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where the trek kicks off. Over the next several days, you’ll pass through traditional Sherpa villages, cross suspension bridges, and visit Buddhist monasteries, all set against a backdrop of massive snow-capped peaks.
